Re : Downgrade blade back to all-wood?

Most discussion forums (especially table tennis) are full of posters asking the wrong question based on totally false premises or lack of knowledge about the issue at hand etc. This sub-forum is dedicated to identifying such questions & useless & usually hilarious answers in various tableetnnis forums & also shows what the right answer should have been

In general, I prefer to keep the tempo a little slow, as I have weaknesses in fast rallys..
No need to explain further.
You do not qualify to be a player in ITTF's Click link> top spin ONLY Olympic TT using
(click link >) dumb rackets

My two biggest weaknesses are service receiving (long spinny ones) and blocking.
You want to use a smart blade with spinny inverted on Side F (mostly forehand) and OX actual long pips on Side B (mostly backhand) & learn to twiddle later.

All your answers in the ITTF worship forum called TableTennisDaily will of course be a case of right answers to the wrong question
Because your asking for a dumb blade in itself is a wrong question and you will get lot of right answers based on that wrong assumption that most human can use dumb blades & belong in top spin only Olympic table tennis :D

If so could be good for a classical defender to play far from the table.
You are correct but also ONLY if the blade is truly oversized as well
And it still should be a smart blade with stiffer forehand side (for wide pips) and softer backhand side (for actual long pips)

The only player who may find an al wood blade useful is a classical away from the table defender using frictionless type wide pips on forehand and high friction actual long pips OX on backhand

Spinny inverted on forehand is not a viable rubber for forehand chopping because of lack of spin contrast between forehand & backhand
Forehand spinny inverted will good backspin and actual long pips on backhand will give very heavy back spin

But a frictionless wide pips will give lots of no spin fake chops on forehand with very heavy backspin backhand.
This gives maximum spin contrast within the non top spin domain
Also classic choppers are not loopers . That is why they are called classic choppers to start with
A classic chopper does not loop attack but smash (flat hit) attacks. Frictionless wide pips is the best for this

Of course
(i] Click link > Truly oversized (click link >) smart blades that are mass produced
(ii) Frictionless wide pips
(iii) Frictioned actual long pips
do not exist in the 40+ plastic ball only era ,since items (ii) & (iii) above are banned in
ITTF's Click link> top spin ONLY Olympic TT
and it is not worth it financially for manufacturers to make item (i)

80% to 90% of answers or suggestions posted in the TableTennisDaily forum & all other table tennis forums are basically right answers to the wrong question
Because the replies by clueless and or brainwashed but self proclaimed experts in TableTennisDaily is based on the fundamentally flawed assumption that the robotNazis controlled ITF's Click link> top spin ONLY Olympic TT is the one & only proper way to play table tennis
