No March Madness in USA?

[DeZyre 03]

Does it seem like most major countries except like USA hold their national championships on March

Should USA also hold National Championships in March , instead of in June , to ride on NCAA's coattails

[Ron Dhyse]

I think it is held in late June because it is summer holidays for schools and colleges in USA
Given that table tennis is not that big in USA , maybe it makes more sense
But maybe they can hold it during spring break week in Florida or some other southern state and call it Spring Break March Madness National Championships .
Sort of like 3 birds in one stone (whatever the hell that means)
