I am currently using glayzer on my backhand I want to change my blade to cybershape wood and change rubber to lp I know a bit how to use it can you pls suggest some rubbers which have good reversal has decent speed and good control with durability being as good my backhand is pretty good but I want to explore all styles to see which one suits me more, and pls suggest sponge thicknesses with it. I am thinking of hellfire x 0.5 or 1.2 mm because I don't want to only chop but most of the time block near the table and also try to attack meaning open up the ball. Can you also pls tell how it will play on the carbon version of cybershape.
Thanks.
You do not want a (click link) dumb blade if you will be using a (click link) smart racket .
You want to use a (click link) smart blade
Also check out this link about (click link) best smart racket designs

As for as rubbers go, I cannot recommend any slim (flex) pips on ITTF LATC because they are useless in the 40+ plastic ball only era.
I use actual long(flex) pips .

Please surf this forum & learn the truth about table tennis .
But you are making the right decision moving to a (click link) smart racket .

TTGuy , do NOT use sponge for pips.
Use only OX. It has much better control.
Sponge feels ok if you are coming from inverted but sponge is useless unless you are a pro player
