Long pips (banned in ITTF since 1977) or even ITTF approved slim pips are far better than anti even despite the 2008 Frictionless pips ban (& no cuch limits of COF on Anti)
However if you want to join the current fantasy fad of Sabine Winter (& Luka Mladenovic etc) knock yourselves and waste time . Enjoy
Below is a definitive guide to AntiSpin rubbers
Though this is the definitive bible for anti-spin rubbers, keep in mind that the numbers are only here to give an idea. The idea is rather to give you a general guide on how to choose the right Anti for your playing style and not obsess over exact numbers (as few can be wrong)

This is based on my years of testing many of these rubbers and also playing against them in actual tournaments (but I do not use anti-spin rubbers myself since I prefer actual long pips)
Pay close attention to functional type column and spin reversal & disruption columns

Also the disruption & spin reversal ratings for within Anti-spin rubber family only & not compared to non-ITTF long pips or even ITTF slim pips ,both of which have higher disruption capability & dynamic range than anti. Also anti mostly has only very limited spin generation and so no spin amplification .
Only slim or long pips are capable of spin amplification (Spin generation+ spin reversal) since this is the key difference in operational mechanics between anti and (non-ITTF) long or ITTF slim pips (I will get into operational mechanics of anti compared to long pips or slim pips in a separate post later)

I recommend actual non-ITTF long pips or even ITTF slim pips.
Anti arrived few years before long pips in early 1970s
Originally anti was intended as a weapon for choppers
But as soon as as long pips arrived a few years later, no chopper was ever using anti.
ITTF promptly stepped in and banned all long pips at the Birmingham 1977 BGM

Even despite that there probably has never been a chopper that used or uses anti.

Not only the dynamic range of even the post 2008 FPB ban is better than anti will ever be , but for chop blocking, no anti come anywhere close to an OX pips (due to weight of sponge needed on any smooth rubber by ITTF rule)

Yet , why do players still stick with anti ?
That is because it is easier to learn to use.
The learning curve for slim & long pips is decades long LOL

But keep in mind that any rubber that is easier for you to use is also equally easier for most opponents to play against (there will always be a few who can never adjust)
This is the duality principle for table tennis.
Very similar to a rubber with sticky top sheet . It can produce tons of spin in say a loop but it will also react uncontrollably to an incoming loop in the hands of an amateurwho cannot handle it

This is also why ITTF does not want players to use slim or long pips.
Slim and long pips are a much bigger nuisance to robotNazis (who control the ITTF).

Now that strong rules are being passed over and over to control pips, ITTF now can focus in limiting anti rubbers now by limiting the COF for antis as well. Like ITTF did in 2008 to ban frictionless pips
