Hi everyone,
I'd like to share a highlight video of my son , who placed 9th at the recent German U11 National Ranking Tournament. He's just 10 years old and shows some really dynamic and exciting rallies in this short best-of Video. - including a win against the #2 seed of the tournament.
Hope you enjoy it!
Feedback welcome - Greetings from Germany

Thanks for the kind words! We’re glad because achieving a top ten finish shows that you don't have to be the tallest or the number one in the tournament to be happy.

Great rallies.
His serve may need some work. Too long most of the time
Looked like he was just putting the ball in play with limited strategy.

Thank you so much for the helpful feedback! Yes, my son is only ten, so he’s still developing his strategy. I agree that he needs to pay more attention to the opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. That’s definitely one of the key areas he needs to work on. He’s got a variety of serves, and I agree that mixing them up and placing them well is crucial. I also think he could benefit from varying his shot placement during rallies and not focusing too much on one side. Overall, he’s still learning, and your advice is really valuable. Thanks again!
