I don' understand

What it means is that you can post anonymously and remain discreet by using a posting handle for your user ID incstead of your real name if you choose.
In fact using your full bname is highly discouraged. If you like you can use yout first name & last initial or Last name only or first name only etc.
But it is best to use a posting handle.
IOCTT com is very unlike the ITTF worship forums where posters and admins have a maniacal obsession about who the poster rather than what you post.
Of course you are welcome to describe your personal experiences rrequests in this forum etc
iocTT.com doe snot even need your email address to register and post.
If you lose your userID & password you can just email the moderators and request a pasword reset.
