This important message is for players over the age of say 40 ans also for all para players.

If you are a victim of braiwashing by the ITTF and its coaches & robotNazis , the time to rehabilitate yourselves is NOW.
Stop using super dumb rackets , dumb rackets and semi-dumb rackets.

You want to use smart rackets that ITTF is terrified of you usng.

PLease read the topic below carefully for more information

You want a smart blade with an actual long pips on one side (usually backhand for 95% people) and either spinny inverted or wide pips (with sponge) on the other side (usually forehand for 95% people) .

Please do NOT use

1. Super dumb rackets > Identical rubber on both sides of a dumb blade. Even 90% of pros should not be using this type racket
2. Dumb rackets > Same rubber type on both sides . worst for older lplayers is smooth spinny inverted rubbers both sides
3. Semi dumb rackest > Such as spinny inverted one side (usually backhand for 95% people) & either wide pips or anti on other side (usually forehand for 95% people)

Coaches should not even be starting para players or older players with dumb rackets.

The concept of a dumb racket is difficult to comprehend even for coaches because they have been brainwashed so long by the ITTF that dumbrackets are "normal" rackets in TableTennis.
So it would be an even harder concept for a new player to grasp

I know one such player in the club. Fat, looks like an ogre and tries to play with two inverted rubbers in block and smash style. He plays incredibly monotonously and stupidly, serving me on long pimples (Saviga 77 monster with treated tops and length somewhere around 1.9 mm) for some reason with a strong topspin serve, receiving a strong backspin from me. Almost always his subsequent smash falls into the net. It is painful to watch such a player, but I doubt that he will listen to me and put on more suitable rubbers for his style of play.

HAve you tried to help him him by explaining this to him & why he needs to switch to a smart racket ?

Remember, a greater success in sport is creating (coaching) a player to a better success than yourself
