Igor's Ignorance of the laws makes no excuse., --the wisdom to remember.

It was ages ago that ITTF told rubber manufacturers to be twice as careful about the thickness limitations of the rubber topsheet. ITTF instructed all the associaties brands to stop producing rubber sheets ( OX-type) at the margin of limit 2.0 mm , and to always keep the sheets under the limit 1.80 mm. Some brands did responded, and some did not.
Manica Batra was unluckily supplied with a substandard product from TIBHAR, the Grass DTeck 1.9 mm thick without sponge , resulting in a racket control failure December 2025.
TIBHAR did killed Manika Batra to say the least. Ignorance of the laws makes no excuse, you must know.
Igor,
The maximum pip length limit after 2024 is 2.05 mm not 2.00 mm
Goes to show who is the ignorant one here
The maximum pip limit limit of 2.00 mm you are talking about was set at the 1977 birmingham BGM to ban long pips
After 1977 there are no long pips in ITTF just slim pips,
ITTF calls the slim pips as long pips to brainwash the pips players especially the chopper fools

Manika Batra should NEVER have agreed to have her racket visually (or mechanically) inspected to start with.
She must have demanded the umpires first show chemical inspection equipment to test for common law illegal boosters & spein glues
She should also have demanded that every racket is being subjected to chemical inspection first.
Because since boosting / spein gluing are health issues , they have a higher priority for testing first

Also I am not sure if she even has to submit her pips side of the racket for mechanical measurements for rubber thickness.
If the rubber is OX & has official approval logo & is on current LARC no additional mechanical inspection is needed.
Also I am not sure they were using verified testing method

Why was max allowed pip length increased from 2.00 mm to 2.05 mm?
Did ITTF suddenly find religion and God a in 2024 and decided to compensate for all the 13 rule changes that were passed before 1977 to oppress the choppers?

Your sarcasm is hilarious.
So I assume you know why ITTF did it.
But I will explain it here anyway for benefit of pips losers

To be clear ITTF's rule change of increasing the max allowed pip length has nothing to do at all with helping the choppers.
It has everything to do with helping the common law illegal booster and spein glue cheats.
Keep in mind that ITTF did not just increase just the max allowed pip length. It was just a part of the rule change that ALSO increased maximum allowed total rubber thickness (sponge+top sheet) from 4.00 mm to 4.05 mm
Why you ask?
Great question
ITTF did this to protect the (common law )illegal booster & glue cheats.
How you ask?>
Another great question.
Many booster cheats & spein glue were getting caught because the sponge on the 4.00 mm expanded and failed the thickness test
Now we could not have that can we? Poor robotNazis
Even though boosting & spein gluing itself unapproved under rule 2.4.7 & regulation 3.4.2.2 of the ITTF statutes, the ITTF itself is also protecting & rewarding the robotNazis by increasing the rubber thickness from 4.00 mm to 4.05 mm. Now try to understand this paradox :D

So to make it look like they are supporting diversity, they made it look like they are doing a great favor to pips players as well (by increasing the maximum allowed pip length from 2.00 mm to 2.05 mm).
But this in no way compensates for the 13 other rule & regulation changes that are aimed at partially or fully aimed at severely limiting choppers
Because if you want to atone for their sins , the best allowed maximum pip length has to be 2.50 mm not 2.05 mm ...........in addition to allowing the a maximum aspect ratio of 1.5 (to compensate for the reduction from 1.3 to 1.1 in 1998 and in addition to other 12 changes) if not also repealing the pip density reduction regulation of 2004
